As a composer for Film, TV and Video Games Julian has worked on a variety of projects over the years. In 2021, he produced the score for the short film “Un Jour Viendrá” by Nicolas Cazalé and “Discontenti” by Luigi Florente. He’s also written music the music for the Budweiser campaign “Every Budweiser Is Brewed With 100% Renewable Electricity” which aired in the UK and Ireland. In 2023, Julian was commissioned to write a 30 minute piece for Berlin’s based stilt dance performance group DANZANKÓ. He has also assisted composers Oj & Fridel on library music albums for EMI Music, Universal and Endemol Shine Group, the score for the documentary “Aida’s Secrets” and several mobile games. He also recorded foley for the short film Little Soldier by Stella Corradi starring Zawe Ashton and mixed the score for the film “Brighton” by composer Gary Yershon.
Currently he just finished scoring the short film “Always Arriving” for filmmaker Tom Phanes and he is working with writer/director Chimaobim Nathan on a set of three short films.
With a tendency for bold choices, crafting new sounds and a knack for drama, his music oscillates between the intimate and the grandiose, blending all kinds of textures with modern sounds and traditional instruments.
