Julian Blanco is a music producer and sound engineer. With an eclectic taste and a background as a musician, he is most passionate about getting musical ideas to the highest level.
Julian’s passion as a music producer and an engineer comes from his background of writing and performing songs as an artist, having toured extensively supporting his own work. Therefore he has an understanding of the process and the point of view at both sides of the glass.
So far in his career, Julian has had the privilege to be involved in many different projects in the industry. From engineering sessions at Abbey Road Studios, to recording foley for the award winning short "Little Soldier" with director Stella Corradi, to produce and mix several library tracks for EMI Music and Endemol Shine Group.
Artist wise, Julian’s had the pleasure of mixing the track ‘Fresh Eyes’ (written by Ian Kirkpatrick and Andy Grammer) out of Grace Grundy’s album ‘Grace'. He’s also worked on Tommi Waring's singles ‘Moonracer’, ‘Miami’ and ‘Dangerous’, which had been featured on Clash Magazine, Complex UK and Impose Magazine to great praise. He’s also had the pleasure to work in the studio with artists like Jorja Smith, Lewis Capaldi, Gigs, Bugzy Malone and Honorable CNOTE among others.
I've been writing and releasing songs for a pretty long time now, and the thing that stands out to me most about the process is that the mix and the mastering are the 2 most important aspects of song productions. Julian is my soul-mate in that regard, because he brings out the energy and emotion (the magic) from all of the different artists contributing to the production. Thanks JB, our collaboration has been truly magical....!!!
